Early Years had a lovely visit from NUSTEM! They looked at the role of a Glaciologist and read the story ‘Little Bear’s Spring’ by Elli Woollard. The children then had a turn at rescuing different objects and animals from the ice. They used pipettes to squeeze coloured water and salt onto the ice. The children were all very CURIOUS to see what happened to the ice. They were OBSERVANT as they were able to notice change. Finally, all children in early years were RESILIENT as it took a little bit of time to melt the ice using the pipettes.
