As part of our English unit ‘Traditional Tales’ Year One have been reading the story ‘The Three Little Pigs.’
As you can see, the big bad wolf paid our school a little visit today. He wasn’t successful at blowing our school away but he did make rather a big mess in our classroom.
The children took part in some oral retelling and freeze frame today. Tomorrow they will be moving on to sequencing the story, discussing how the Big Bad Wolf could be more kind in the future, describing him using adjectives and thinking of questions we would like to ask him.
To end the unit we will be writing the story ourselves and looking at different versions of ‘The Three Little Pigs’.
You’ll also be glad to know Big Bad Wolf was seen making his way out of Barley Mow and heading back into the woods by helicopter at lunch time. Stay safe everyone!
