As part of their new science topic, Year 4 have been learning about teeth.
They discovered that humans have up to 32 adult teeth, made up of four different types: canines, incisors, pre-molars and molars. Each type of tooth is designed for a specific job in the eating process – some cut, while others tear and grind our food.
During science, the children created a model of their mouth using marshmallows as teeth. Things got a little bit sticky but the children persevered and managed to create some amazing models.
