As part of our current history topic, Year 6 visited Beamish Museum to find out what life was like during the Victorian Period.
First, we visited the pit village and thought of what it would have been like living there as a child.
The fun began when we experienced what it was like to go to school in the Victorian period. We were shocked at how strict their rules were and how different it is compared to our school!
After lunch, we enjoyed a tram ride to the town to visit the shops and bank and we even called in at the dentist.
