Year 2 stepped back in time with Richard ‘That History Bloke’ learning all about local history – The Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle. Richard took us on a virtual trip to the quayside to show us where the fire started and he explained how it spread across the river from Gateshead to Newcastle. It was fascinating looking at old photographs of where we live and exploring life in the past.
