On Friday afternoon, Year 6 and Year 1 became reading buddies. They really enjoyed choosing and sharing a book together. They talked about their favourite parts of the story and asked each other questions. The younger children also had the chance to show off their developing reading skills by reading some of the words that they have learned so far. We’re already looking forward to being reading buddies again next week!
