Year 6 were visited by ‘We Were There Too’ and learned all about World War One and the British Jews who fought. We read letters and made notes and talked about what we had found out about the lives of people such as Marcus Segal from Newcastle, Israel Levene, David Cohen MM, Frank De Pass and women such as Emily Hartman. We found it very interesting, especially to hear about the lives of people from our local area.
