Today is a day to celebrate Museums and how important they are!
Museums keep documents and artefacts relating to cultures, societies, nature, and almost anything else you can imagine throughout history. There are also some museums in the world dedicated to some pretty specific things- ever heard of the Museum of Hats? What about crochet? Bread? Pencils? What’s the most specific or strange thing you can find that there is a museum of?
Museums are there to preserve history. Walking through a museum is like going back in time, experiencing things as they were thousands of years ago and learning about different races and cultures.
Although we can’t physically walk through any museums at the moment, there are plenty that have made some of their exhibitions available for you to view online!
