As part of our topic on the Romans, Year 3 visited Segedunum Roman Fort yesterday. We found out all about the Roman invasion and the rebellion led by Boudicca. We enjoyed dressing up as Celtic warriors, making woollen bracelets, painting our hands and building a roundhouse. We looked at various artefacts in the museum and had fun exploring the ancient ruins imagining what life would have been like for the Roman soldiers at Segedunum.
