In Year 4 our unit in RE is looking at our local area and understanding ways in which communities express their religious identity. Last week we were lucky enough to have a visit from Mr Glickman from the Jewish community. He talked about how Jewish people came to be in Gateshead and shared some of their beliefs and practices with us. It was all very interesting and the children listened really well and asked many questions. I was super impressed!
