This half term, Year 6 have been designing wallpaper emulating the work of William Morris. We looked at and identified key themes in his work then created our own mood boards and sketches for our own designs. Today, we have our own printing blocks using polystyrene tiles. Next week, we are going to create a multi-layered tile so that we can use more than one colour. We had great fun and I’m sure you’ll agree the results are fabulous. Mrs Watson was so impressed that she created her own tile too!
