On Tuesday 25th September, our ‘Friend’s of Barley Mow’ held a coffee morning to raise awareness and funds to support Macmillan and Children’s Cancer UK. September is also Childhood Cancer awareness month this year and lots of people bought gold badges to show their support and help raise vital funds needed.
They welcomed parents, friends and residents to have a cuppa, a friendly chat and to buy generously donated cakes from parents and children. In total they raised £90.02, that will be split between the two charities. Thank you everyone who showed their support!
