Linked to our topic ‘People who Help us’ a nurse called Hannah came into Reception to tell us all about her job and how she helps people. First, she began by talking about why she wears a uniform and gloves. Then, she showed us her stethoscope and told us that she uses them to hear people’s hearts beat. Some of us got to listen to our own heart beat! After that, Nurse Hannah showed us how to put a bandage on someone who had hurt themselves. We were all really interested and loved hearing about all of the ways she looks after people, some of us even copied Nurse Hannah in our very own Barley Mow doctors surgery.
