We carried out a traffic survey to find out how the amount of vehicles passing the school changes across the day. As we predicted, the road was much busier when it was near home time than it was earlier in the afternoon. We decided that our parents and carers could help to reduce the traffic around school by walking to collect us at home time. Using a tally chart helped us to keep track of the number of vehicles which we saw. We are pleased to say that we didn’t see any emergency vehicles during our survey.
