This morning Year 3 and 4 took part in our annual ‘Times Table Challenge’ event and it was certainly a tables triumph! Teams were alert and ready to battle through each round to be crowned champions. We had tables bingo, speed races, matching pairs, tables jigsaws, hot spots then ending in a times tables quiz.
The children have been working hard practising table and division facts and it was certainly demonstrated today. The speed and accuracy of responses was outstanding and very impressive. All the adults were very proud of their achievements and the children were a joy to watch.
Our overall champions were ‘Brain Boxes’ but everyone can call themselves winners as everyone tried so hard to make this event a success. A great morning showcasing great maths!
