In Geography Year 4 have been learning all about South America and in particular Brazil. We used maps and other secondary sources to develop our understanding about this part of the world whilst comparing it to England. We learnt about the Amazon Rainforest and other physical and human characteristics found there and all agreed Brazil certainly seems an amazing place to visit.
To end this unit we gathered all our information and facts to write a detailed report. We included key facts about the location, major cities, climate and places of interest. We also used a program called ‘Purple Mash’ to present our work which helped develop our typing and keyboard skills.
Well done Year 4 – some fascinating facts found. Our world is definitely worth exploring!
