In the repeating pattern challenge, we had to continue a 4 shape repeating pattern was already started, then spot the mistake in Mrs Oram’s pattern, then finally work out the 9th term in a pattern which had only 5 shapes in it. We were quite good at noticing errors and being able to point them out or correct them practically but sometimes we had to explain how to correct the mistake using just a verbal explanation. That took a lot of thinking about!
