During World War One, soldiers often made pin cushions to send home to their wives, sweethearts and mothers. They used beads, sequins, felt and pre-printed panels of the soldiers’ regiments.
We have made our own pin cushions by sewing felt shapes together and decorating them with glass jewels and sequins.
