During Science Week, Reception welcomed Luke into our class who came to teach us all about magnets and how they work. We played different games to learn about what would stick to a magnet and realised we need objects that were metal.
We also did an experiment of our own. We first poured in some baking soda. Then using pipettes we squeezed some food colouring on to the baking soda. Next, we added some vinegar, which made all the colours bubble and fizz. We listened to colours fizz. After that, we placed some paper over the fizzing paint which printed lots of pretty colours onto the paper.
