Joe from Northumbria University came into Year 4 this week for Science Week. We learnt about a geologist and what their job involves. We were lucky enough to hold the rocks that are amazingly 450,000,000 years old. Joe brought 4 different rocks in that had came from space. He told us how to identify the rocks and we discussed the properties of each meteorite. We then drew each rock shape and recorded our results. We had a fantastic time and loved finding out about our world and beyond.
