In November, Year 4 and 5 were visited by an Arctic researcher. He showed us maps of the Arctic and we were all really surprised at how big it actually is. Using maps, he explained to us the different routes they took to get to the Arctic and the different ways they travelled to it. We then watched some footage of a drone being used to help them with their research. Using arial photographs and a map viewer, we were able to look closely at the different features of the Arctic landscape.
