This morning, KS2 have had a visit from Gillian Bell, who is part of the Parliamentary Education Team, to learn about the role of MPs and what happens in the House of Lords and Commons. Gillian explained the importance of both houses and the vital role our MPs have in sharing their constituents’ thoughts and opinions.
Some children even had to take on the role of MPs and lords to decide whether they would pass laws through Parliament! By the end of the workshop, everyone learned something new about the role and importance of our Parliament.
