Today we began to learn what bar modelling is. We learned how to find two parts which made the whole. We began to use the vocabulary of part, part, whole and used this to explore number bonds and ways to make numbers.
Some children could even complete the bond diagram for the number they had made. Next we’re moving on to writing the number sentence too.
