Every Thursday in Reception we have ‘Toast Morning!’ This is an opportunity for Reception children to develop fine motor skills by using a knife to spread: butter, jam and lots of other tasty toppings on their toast. It is also a great chance for children to have a chat with their friends and teachers about their interests and develop language skills. We are trying really hard to talk in a full sentence using the correct tenses and what better way to do it then over a slice of toast and a drink of juice!
