On Wednesday, Mr Wiley from Lord Lawson came into school to teach Year 2 skills we will need to use when we visit Lord Lawson in a couple of weeks to take part in a multi-skills competition with other Gateshead schools.
We practiced using our cheetah speed in running races, we transformed into frogs to try out leapfrog long jump. Next was a test of balance as we attempted a stork stand, this was followed by a kangaroo bounce before finally taking part in a monkey scramble.
We are all really excited about taking part in the competition on 16th March. Please make sure your child has their PE (including trainers) in school.
