Today, Year 4 became history detectives and carried out an artefact analysis. We looked closely at objects from the time of World War 2 and tried hard to understand what they had been used for and their purpose. We looked at old money, letters, an evacuee bag, old newspapers, a ration book, an identify card, games and even a gas mask! It was very interesting handling the artefacts and there was lots of discussion about how times had changed.
We are all looking forward to this half term and learning more about this significant time in British history.
