At the start of the term we visited Tesco at Gateshead Trinity Square. We learnt all about healthy food and where it comes from before it arrived in the store. We enjoyed going around the store and picking different fruits and vegetables. We also learnt about the sugar content in some of our favorite drinks. We had a great time using the checklists to help us find different coloured fruit and vegetables, and we even got to bring all of the fruit and vegetables we picked back to school to taste on the afternoon!
