This week Richard, a history expert known as ‘That History Bloke’, came to Year 4 to teach us all about Ancient Egypt. We had a super day learning all about this period in history. It was fascinating finding out about Pharaohs and Egyptian beliefs – which to us seem very, very strange!
Throughout the day we did so many interesting activities. We carried out an archaeologist dig and found old artefacts, we played Egyptian games, wrote using hieroglyphics, made clay amulets and even became embalmers and mummified a body…DON’T WORRY IT WASN’T REAL!
