We had a fantastic morning in Reception today. Joe from Think Physics came into school to do a bubble workshop.

We all became scientists for the morning. We used circle bubble wands to blow bubbles and discovered that bubbles are sphere shaped. Next we used a triangle bubble wand, we had to predict what shape the bubbles would be and then test our prediction, we tried lots of different shapes and we found out that it doesn’t matter what shape the bubble wand is the bubbles will always be a sphere.

Joe showed us that the size of the bubble wand would make a difference to the size of the bubble. We blew some tiny bubbles and Joe made some giant ones. It was lots of fun!
