Reception children have had a fantastic week learning all about Chinese New Year.
As well as getting messy playing with noodles and rice in the water tray, we have been busy in the creation station making Chinese lanterns and dragon puppets.
We all wrote a wish to hang on our Wishing Tree, we have all taken part in a dragon dance and then the highlight of the week was food tasting. We ate rice, noodles, prawn crackers, spring rolls, prawn toast, curry flavour crisps and fortune cookies. It was very tricky using chopsticks but we all had a good try.
