Barley Mow Primary School was overrun with desperate pirates today. They were led by a particularly tricky pirate who looked a lot like Mrs Chapman! She was helped by her crew (a vast range of different sized pirates, some very little and some quite big!) which included one pirate who could have been mistaken for Mr Skipsey, one of our Parent Governors, but we were assured it wasn’t him! They spent the day searching for treasure, reading maps, solving clues and walking the plank!
It was a fantastic day and a brilliant way to investigate maths.
