July 11th Pirate Maths Day
On Pirate Day our maths skills were put to good use when we climbed aboard ‘The Good Ship Mathematics’ to carry out a range of super maths challenges. First we had to measure a pirate ship accurately using a metre stick. Then we helped Captain Morgan complete a range of complicated problems. Next we learnt how to draw a circle using a compass, which was very tricky. Finally we went on an exciting treasure hunt around school in search of golden coins.
We were certainly very clever pirates. Well done everyone…MATHS AHOY!
