Well, the holidays are over and we’re back in business! Is it really only 2 weeks since we finished for Christmas? The Spring term is traditionally one of the shortest of the school year, which usually means frenetic activity to fit in a full term’s work into 12 weeks (13 if you include half term)!
We welcome 2 new members of staff to our family this term, Mrs Pick and Mrs Mounsey, who join us as teaching assistants. This means that we are now in the fortunate position of having a teacher and a teaching assistant in every class! Some additional re-organisation has taken place to accommodate this: Mrs Noble is now full time teaching assistant in Nursery; Mrs Watson is now part-time teaching assistant in Year 1, alongside Mrs Mounsey; Miss Taylor is now full time teaching assistant in Year 2; Mrs Charlton is now full time teaching assistant in Year 3; Mrs Choudhury is now full time teaching assistant in Year 4; Miss Donkin is now full time teaching assistant in Year 5 and Mrs Pick is now full time teaching assistant in Year 6.
After school clubs will restart next week – week commencing Monday 13th January – except the Y3/4 Tag Rugby coaching, which begins on FRIDAY 10th JANUARY 3.30-4.30pm.
