We are VERY pleased and VERY proud to confirm that our school basketball team, which took part in this competition, were ‘crowned’ champions of Gateshead Primary Schools at the Newcastle Eagles’ home match on Friday 22nd March 2013, in front of a crowd of 2,500 Eagles fans! Having taken part in the qualifying tournament, the team progressed from their semi-final with a 10-0 victory and then completed their fantastic run with an 8-0 win! As usual, our pupils showed tremendous determination, sportsmanship and high quality behaviour. This trophy was a just reward for the efforts they put in. WELL DONE TO ALL!
