The end of this term (Friday 21st December) sees a number of changes here at Barley Mow Primary.
After 16 years service in a number of placements, Miss Everall is leaving us to take up a new position in County Durham – we all wish her good luck in her new post, supporting children with hearing difficulties in a number of schools across the county. Her replacement is Miss Quenet, who is well known to us after she worked here for two years covering Miss Everall’s job while she was training.
After over 5 years service in our Early Years classes (and currently Year 3), Mrs Spencer is leaving, co-incidentally to take up a new position also in County Durham – we wish her well in the next phase of her career. Her replacement, Miss Davison, is also well known to us as she has been teaching in Year 5 this term.
We are also waiting to confirm our new caretaker, but are waiting for appropriate clearances before he can take up his role.
