The fun run organised by our pupils’ Team: Save the Planet (aided by Mrs Bellerby), for raising funds for CHILDREN with CANCER UK was REALLY well supported by children and parents. It was heartening to see so many parents running with their children (and getting a sneak peek of our new school playing fields!) – we’re pleased to say no ambulances were needed! The last classes finished in the rain but even that could not dampen the enthusiasm of the runners. Sponsorship monies should be returned to school as soon as possible and before the end of term in any case, so that we can total up and pass on the hundreds of pounds we anticipate. A MASSIVE thank you for your support of such a worthwhile event.

At the end of term, the fabulous sum of £2,247.70 has been raised in sponsorship!!! Even more money is still coming in – a HUGE thank you for your support.
