M.B.E. for Barley Mow Governor

Everyone at Barley Mow Primary School is pleased to send our warmest congratulations to one of our Community governors, Ian Caddy, who was awarded an M.B.E. in the New Year Honours list, for services to the Birtley community. It is a richly deserved award and we are delighted for Ian, who was involved with our school, via the Birtley Community Partnership, for a number of years before he joined our Governing Body.
