On Monday 9th March the School Council visited Peases West Primary School (Crook, Co. Durham), Newburn Manor Nursery School and Moorside Primary School (Newcastle) to have a look at their outdoor areas and see if we could find things we might like to include in our new build. The 12 children were accompanied by Mr Hewitson, Mrs Thompson, Mrs Woolcock and Mrs Moist. The day was very bright, very windy and at Crook – very cold! We saw lots of good ideas, some interesting ideas and some ideas that we didn’t like at all. A display of photographs and comments from the visits is on show in the main entrance to our school – do call in and have a look, you can leave your comments to help the architects and designers with their proposals.
