Before half term Year 2 had their last visit to Shadon House to work with the residents. The children enjoyed finishing off their weaving and their pom pom and tassel making. The children’s creations will now be put together to make one large piece of art. We are really excited and cannot wait to see the finished piece.

As a special treat we got to meet one of the hens that our Reception class helped to look after during their visits to Shadon House. Popcorn has grown from a tiny little chick into a beautiful hen with a rather unique hairstyle. Year 2 had lots of fun singing songs to her and giving her lots of cuddles.
