Last week our class lion, Rory, lost his roar. If we squeezed his tummy, he used to make a roaring sound, but now that doesn’t happen. Rory was feeling really sad about losing his roar so the challenge in our creative area was to make something to cheer Rory up. The children made cards, pictures or models and wrote him messages which they put in his box. Today Rory, who had been cheered up by their kindness last week, left the children a surprise to say thank you. Monday morning was even more exciting than normal as we discovered that he had left us a new book about a tiger!
